The product is a comprehensive recruiting platform that integrates tools for sourcing, hiring, workforce management, and analytics into a single system. It helps companies hire both full-time and contract-based talent. By centralizing all recruiting activities, it streamlines the recruiting lifecycle and improves visibility into hiring operations.

The story behind

The client initially developed a platform MVP with an external vendor, but was dissatisfied with the overall quality. The product contained numerous bugs and suffered from unreliable state management. Seedium stepped in to stabilize the product, improve its performance, and prepare it for a successful launch and future scaling.

The Seedium team rebuilt the platform from the MVP, delivering front-end and back-end development along with seamless Stripe integration. Over more than three years of collaboration, we have developed an extensive suite of features, including AI-powered capabilities.

The platform required a back-end capable of handling complex business workflows. Using Nest.js, we built a modular, scalable structure with custom workflows for registration, authentication, and user management. This enabled easy expansion and rapid feature development.

 

Database operations were optimized with input normalization, SQL-level JSON aggregation, and advanced search with typo tolerance, case insensitivity, and partial matching, ensuring fast, relevant responses even with large datasets.

 

We also fully reorganized AWS infrastructure with clear modules, proper IAM policies, least-privilege access, and repeatable deployments, providing scalability and stable performance under load.

 

Finally, the CI/CD pipeline was configured with fixed release-it issues, accelerating deployment cycles and reducing release-related errors.

The platform provides smart candidate sourcing and management, integrating with LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, and internal talent pools. Recruiters can create custom hiring flows, from application to candidate evaluation, interview scheduling, and onboarding. There are also pre‑built templates for common workflows that can be customized. 

 

The system uses AI algorithms to match candidates to job requirements in real time. It extracts key information from resumes and enriches profiles with additional data, such as social profiles, career history, and skills validation. This increases the accuracy of candidate-job matches, reduces manual screening effort, and accelerates the hiring process.

The platform offers advanced AI capabilities designed to streamline the hiring process:

  • AI-powered job description optimization feature recommends improvements to copies, ensuring they attract the most suitable candidates. 
  • An AI interview question generator enables recruiters to create interview questions based on the job description.
  • AI-powered predictive analytics identifies candidates most likely to succeed, based on historical hiring data.

To provide visibility, we built a comprehensive recruitment dashboard that allows users to track metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, candidate drop-off, and hiring velocity. Users can also create custom reports to provide actionable insights for executive teams or support compliance audits.
